Travel Information

VacaTripPlan and Ohio88Insider provide travel ideas, research, recommendations, maps, challenges, stories, and other informational content.

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, but travel information changes. Businesses may change hours, ownership, pricing, availability, policies, or operations without notice.

Always confirm important details directly with a business or destination before making a special trip.

Research or inclusion on VacaTripPlan does not mean every location has been personally visited.

Editorial Independence

Businesses and organizations may sponsor portions of Ohio88Insider.

Sponsored placement does not influence our editorial selections, recommendations, reviews, or Local Spotlight choices.

A business cannot purchase a positive review, recommendation, Hidden Gem designation, or Local Spotlight selection.

Sponsored content or placement will be identified where appropriate.

Ohio88Insider Membership

Ohio88Insider membership may include challenges, digital badges, Explorer Points, community features, travel resources, and other benefits.

Features may be added, changed, improved, or discontinued as the program evolves.

Free membership does not guarantee access to every future product, event, or optional paid service.

Challenges, Badges and Explorer Points

Ohio88Insider challenges currently use an honor-based completion system unless otherwise stated.

Members are responsible for honestly reporting challenge completion.

Digital badges, points, rankings, and similar features are intended for entertainment and community participation and have no cash value.

Unless a specific challenge says otherwise, no purchase is required to participate or complete a challenge.

Safety and Personal Responsibility

Travel, driving, hiking, outdoor recreation, visiting businesses, attending events, and participating in challenges involve personal responsibility.

You are responsible for evaluating road conditions, weather, accessibility, operating hours, property rules, personal ability, and other conditions before participating.

VacaTripPlan and Ohio88Insider do not control the properties, businesses, roads, attractions, events, or destinations featured in our content.

External Businesses and Websites

References or links to restaurants, accommodations, attractions, tourism organizations, businesses, social-media services, or other third parties do not make those organizations part of VacaTripPlan.

We are not responsible for third-party products, services, policies, websites, availability, or actions.

Purchases, Sponsorships and Paid Services

Some products, services, sponsorships, or upgrades may require payment.

Pricing, billing frequency, renewal information, cancellation terms, and other transaction-specific conditions will be displayed with the applicable offer or checkout.

Those offer-specific terms become part of your agreement when you purchase.

User Submissions and Community Content

If you submit recommendations, corrections, photographs, comments, challenge posts, community content, or other material, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share it.

We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, inappropriate, infringing, promotional spam, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the community.

Submitting a place or business does not guarantee that it will be added to VacaTripPlan or Ohio88Insider.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original VacaTripPlan and Ohio88Insider text, branding, graphics, challenge concepts, databases, guides, videos, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use our content for ordinary personal use but may not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, or commercially redistribute substantial portions without permission.

No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that using VacaTripPlan or Ohio88Insider will produce a particular travel experience, business result, sales result, audience outcome, or financial benefit.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VacaTripPlan and Ohio88Insider are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our content, services, third-party businesses, destinations, or external websites.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
